Interexport Management Systems Ltd. (IMS) was founded in 2002 to address opportunities in the area of nonproliferation and export control. IMS is staffed with experienced European experts who have worked in their National Authorities as policy makers, managers, and technical specialists. IMS is now making its expertise available to meet the needs of both governments and industry in understanding the ever increasing complexity in export control legislation and practice. This assistance is generally provided in the form of standard or customized training designed to equip the user with all the knowledge and tools they need to build robust systems and practices to meet export control requirements worldwide.
IMS has provided consultancy and training services to a range of governments and industrial companies including:
The European Commission;
The Department of Trade and Industry UK (Now BERR);
The Department of Commerce (USA) and Department of State (USA);
Government of Estonia;
Military and commercial companies in the UK.
IMS has also supported training events in a range of Eastern European and Middle East countries.
